Seesaw

What is Seesaw? Introduction for Families (a 3 minute video)

Seesaw is available to all pupils in KS1 and KS2 at Challock. The platform is a parents' window into the classroom, showing what their children have been working on via photos, pieces of written work and videos. Teachers, pupils and parents can all give feedback on individual pieces of work - a fantastic way to strengthen home-school links.

Seesaw proved to be invaluable during the Covid19 Lockdown Period. Our teachers were able to deliver online learning for each class; children did not need to print anything out at home, they could upload their digital work pr photos of their work from home, which was could then be marked by the teachers remotely. Throughout this difficult period, our staff also set weekly challenges for the children to inject some fun, creativity and physical activity into their days.
Seesaw continues to allow children to continue working from home should they not be able to be in school due to bad weather or other circumstances.

Parents are able to download their children's work throughout the year, or in one go at the end of the year - this way, it's really interesting to track progress over time, but also to look back and see how pupils have blossomed in their time at Challock!
