Mini Tennis - Ashford School Games

Our Year 3 & Year 4 Tennis Team had their chance to show off their racquet skills this week in the Ashford School Games 'Mini Tennis' Tournament.  The event was held at the North School, and consisted of multiple 'Round Robin' style matches.

The team was selected from members of our Afterschool Tennis Club run by Mr Walker.  Sam, Alfie, April and Richard did us proud on the night, and more importantly had a fantastic time.

  • Dogs Trust Visit & Toy Sale

    Thu 17 May 2018

    The Dogs Trust

On the 1st May we had a special visit from The Dogs Trust, and their ambassador dog Paddy.  He was extremely well behaved and the children were thrilled to meet him.  His owner Jo presented an assembly to teach the children what the charity does and what important work they do.  They also hosted two workshops with Year 5 & Year 6.

Two of our Year 5 children organised a Pre Loved Toy Sale and managed to raise a fantastic £195.00.  The children donated toys they had grown out of and they were sold by the girls.  The 'shop' was so busy!

Matilda & May worked so hard; we are really proud of them.  They presented Jo and Paddy with thank you gifts after their visit.
