What is Seesaw? Introduction for Families (a 3 minute video)
SEESAW FOR SCHOOLS: Seesaw is now available to all pupils in KS1 and KS2 at Challock. The platform is a parents' window into the classroom, showing what the children have been working on via photos, pieces of written work and videos. Teachers, pupils and parents can all give feedback on individual pieces of work; a fantastic way to strengthen home-school links.
Seesaw proved to be invaluable during the Covid19 Lockdown Period. Our teachers were able to deliver online learning for each class, children did not need to print anything out at home and work could be marked by the teachers remotely. Throughout this difficult period our staff also set weekly challenges for the children to inject some fun, creativity and physical activity into their days.
Portfolios will follow students for their entire career at Challock so it's really interesting to track progress over time, but also to look back and see how pupils have blossomed!
