Our Wrap Around Childcare is provided by 2 amazing local providers; Moonbeams and Teresa Sellens. Not having before and afterschool provision ‘in–house’ offers many advantages:

Extended hours of childcare morning and afternoon
More flexibility
Children are not spending their extended day all in one setting, we find the break between school and afterschool care both relaxing and beneficial for the children
Continuity of care in the school holidays

Each provider differs in their type of childcare, facilities and setting, but all offer a ‘drop off’ and ‘pick up’ service. Please read the ‘Bios’ below to find out more.

Based in Charing this ‘home from home environment’ offers a Holiday Club from 8:30 – 5:00pm, all timings are negotiable. Rachelle, Stacey and team aim to provide a safe, secure and relaxed environment for the children in their care. Care4Kids offer a wide variety of activities, games and resources and can even help with homework and reading if parents wish them to. Care is ‘child led’ with the adults supporting the activities the children wish to take part in. All staff have significant experience working with children and undertake CPD training and are all DBS checked.

Care4kids has an outdoor vision and ethos with their very own Forest School in Challock and qualified Forest School Leaders. Care4kids Holiday Club is based at Rachelle’s home however the Forest School is used as much as possible throughout the year. This allows children to be at one with nature, experience their outdoor world, build dens with friends, chill in the Bell Tent, use tools, toast marshmallows, use the zip wire and much more.

Moonbeams Afterschool & Holiday Club is owned by Vicky & Hugh Martin. Breakfast Club is held at Vicky and Hugh’s family home in Challock, and is available from 7:30am. Afterschool Club is based in the beautiful village of Molash at the Village Hall. School drop off and pick up is via their very own Moon bus! Afterschool club runs until 6:00pm, with early, mid and late price brackets. The late session until 6:00pm also includes tea.

Both venues offer outdoor space and a range of activities, games and fun!

Moonbeams Holiday Club is run from Vicky's home in Challock. The Moonbeamers are invited to join from 7:30am for breakfast, and then leave the house for days out including; Dymchurch Fair & Amusements, Bedgebury Woodlands, Lower Lees Coastal Park in Folkestone and so much more! There is a picnic lunch each day and return to the house in the late afternoon for a cooked meal. The day finishes at 6pm and runs on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's during the school holidays.

Teresa is an Ofsted registered childminder offering ‘home from home’ childcare, with a wide variety of experiences on offer and having fun is a promise! Teresa has over 20 years experience, a diploma in home-based childcare, Paediatric First Aid and is also a member of the Professional Association for Childcare & Early Years, DBS checked, plus all the relevant qualifications needed to care for children in her home. She is based in Challock Village; right around the corner from school and the Challock Pre-School. Teresa is part of the Challock Pre-School team too.

Breakfast club starts at 7:00am with flexible pick up times in the evening and can negotiate all year round childcare if needed. Extended hours of funding for eligible children; working in conjunction with Challock Pre-School. Teresa prides herself on her home cooked snacks and meals and has a wide variety of toys, games and resources and trips around the village. Teresa offers one to one help with homework and reading if needed and has outdoor space for the children to enjoy too. Importantly Teresa ensures your child is cared for in a happy home that’s safe and fun!
